A song of mine

First, hello all, I'm new here. Second, here's a song I just wrote. The idea is that the song is very VERY in your face, but still shows an extreme Jesus Saves message.

For the World Today

1 Jesus will rescue you from your bleeding lives
God will bring new meaning to your wretched nights
So put down the dagger, or the loaded gun at your head
And listen to our words, before you walk the land of the dead
Are you even listening to what you're saying to yourself?
"I'm so sick of people hurting me and ruining my life!"
That's pretty laughable, considering the results of suicide
"God must hate me, my life is unbelievably insane!"
Life is what you make it, son, better get used to pain
But we're handing you an oppurtunity to get in and out of the rain.

C If I could force it down your throat,
I'd plunge it fast as you could blink.
If I could rip it through your head,
I'd swing before you could think.
But the choice is yours
Believe it or not,
Take it or leave it,
I'm telling you,
God's calling you
Get your self inside!

2 Did you know Jesus bled much more for your sins
Than the blood that would come from your wrists?
So put down the bloody knife, and get ahold of your life!
Push past the typical suicidal thoughts in your mind!
Let go of your anger and leave from your darker side
Do you believe in judgement? Do you believe in hell?
I don't want to scare you, but someone has to tell
Yes Jesus loves you, and he really wants to save
But if you choose not to choose, his hands are bound in chains
But if you still have these thoughts, I'll fall to my face and pray*
