I think guitar players are unlike any other musicians...
Constantly buying, selling, looking for the next great guitar. I go to the Guitar Center every week just to check out the new stuff hanging on the wall. I think the reason - at least for me, is simply - if you can't dazzle them with talent, blow'em away with equipment.... I've got most of 'em fooled...ha.
Just bought another this week... please pray for me... I need healed !!!!
The wife is pretty much ok with it... except when I told her that this newest one is going to be laying where she sleeps in bed. She did not see the humor..ha..

Hey guys!!! i just spent a few days with Larry at TTCM in Stockton and i gotta say that he is a very inspirational and influential person. as for my gear, well, i have my main axe... which in essence is the only one i really use. she's a mexican strat. she's white with a black pickguard. i've changed the pickups to Fender Custom Shop Texas Specials. the tone i get out of those things is amazing!!!

I have a mid-90's American Standard w/ a KH20 set of EMG pickups in a HSS configuration. I probably play that one the most. I also have a '93 Gibson Nighthawk Custom 3, and a G & L Invader this is a strat style guitar with 2 humbuckers on mounting rings. My amp is a Peavey Ultra 112, and I have a few stomp boxes : Boss TU2 tuner, Morley Bad Hoarsey (Steve Vai) Wah, Boss DD3 digital delay, Boss MT2 metal zone, & a Marshall Bluesbreaker II overdrive. My acoustic is a Alvarez Yairi WY-1. I usually play bass at church but when I get the chance to play my guitar I will most likely play through a VOX Tonelab SE direct to the house system. Also on the VOX pedal I had a custom case made for it by tarcase.com for $130.00 great case very heavy duty, and he can make them for anything I would imagine. Check it out on Ebay, just search whatever pedal you have and it will probably come up or go to there website.
