TravailBack in February, I was struck with De Quervain's Tendonitis. For those unititated to this condition, it is an inflammation of the tendons that run from the base of the thumb down the wrist, and are encased in synovial material.
After having done the Cortisone dance, it returned, and apparently brought seven other infalmmatory devils with it, because I am literally unable to play my instrument--something I have done consistently for 29 years.
So in December, I am going in for the outpatient procedure--one that takes twenty minutes and cures the ailment 95% of the time.
Let's all pray I don't fall into the 5% outlier. Selling my guitars is not something I envisioned outside the parameters of Obama's economic holocaust.
