Looking for the right delay |
|
we have been doing some praise songs that have alot of delay. I have used simple delay on alot of songs but on these there is that kinda roll off delay that just keeps going on that you use when playing rythem. I have worked with my delay on my xtlive. what type of delay note should I be using to get my tap tempo to fit right. what I have now just seems to be slightly off so I have to adjust it out with the tap tempo and that is kinda hard when you have to try to add to or slow down the tempo when the song is being played.....lol I would like to be able to set the tap tempo to the count of the song and have it set..... any help would really help .......thanks

Are you looking for help on finding a new delay? Or just trying to get your current one synced up better?
Also can you give us some example of songs your using these delays with?

yeah sorry bout that Im looking for the same kind of delay that Lincoln Bruster uses on alot of his songs. I have the delay but I am wanting to get it set right so that I can use my tap tempo to different songs not control it by having to try to tap a different tempo than the song

Did you happen to buy Lincoln Brewster's One-on-One Instructional DVD. He talks about his delay in there if I remember correctly. It is worth buying for all his instructional stuff anyhow. He has a new one getting ready to come out soon, too.
