My main guitar is a white Ibanez RG 450DXWH 1994 model. The stock pups have been replaced with 3 different kind of DiMarzio pups. The pods have been replaced with push-pods so that the bridge and neck humbuckers can be split to sound like a single coil pup.
I generally run a Boss GT-6 directly thru the sound system but sometime have to use my Marshall 2x12 ValveState VS265.
I have a backup black Ibanex RG model with a professional scalloped fretboard.
On the acoustic side of things, I have a 12-string Aria I bought while in West Germany (Germany) in 1990 and a black Ovation Celebrity Deluxe with the leaf sound holes.

Too much to name.
My main guitar is a Fender Custom Shop Strat, 60 reissue, sunburst, new old stock finish.
My second varies between my 62RI Strat (Candy Apple Red) and John Mayer Signature strat (also sunburst). All of them have rosewood fretboards.
I have several other lesser quality strats as well...
I use a pod xt at church, but recently was using a Rivera 2x12.

Nice looking guitars. Do I take it that you focus on Jazz style playing?
Couldn't hear the sound samples, btw.

Hi Craig...
Thanks, and yes, mostly what I play is flavored toward jazz. Actually, most of the sets I play are on trio, quartet, or 6 piece (sextet ??) jazz sets. In church I am mostly the "guy on the back row" that plays bass in a musicians rotation, and some guitar for the choir when they need someone from a different era (circa Nixon, Kennedy, Viet Nam, etc).....
As far as the sound clips, that part of the page is undergoing some changes.
Regards, SRN

I have been playing guitar since i was 9 years old. 34 years now. wow !! to let every one know about me, i am the first replacement guitar player that replaced bro larry in the mcgruders in 1993. after three months, we agreed that i was to much a detroit guy(blues, rock, and motown kind of a player) to fill the shoes of what the mcgruders were doing. the gear i use is line 6 spider3 head w/ a half stack , a custom strat w/ emgs, a tele, a kramer w/ one damarzio single humbuckers, also i use a pod xt pro which i custom tweeked. i have several other amps, and gear as well. i also use a custom takamine accustic. i found that it is the best sounding in the studio far none. i will have some stuff on my space soon now that i am linked up to the web. thx, larry for this site. i believe we can do good, i mean great things with it!!!!

hi guys i think that this site is starting to take off. i think we should seriously think about getting together once a year for a weekend jam session or something. i say to you all "why not?" we have time for everything else!!! we need to start planning something guys... this is duane rossmann saying lets do it!!!... e mail me guys @ satseal@aol.com also if you guys want to see some historical guitars i am going to put some pics on soon. i was at london a while ago and i had the oportunity to play stevie ray vaughns black strat(he had three, but the black one was the studio one for his recordings),les pauls personal les paul, and jimmie hendrix's personal flying v guitar (the actual one he played at woodstock) ...it was cool.... i want to say that i am not giving any praise to those guys but hey, this is a guitar players web site right? lol....

Hi, first off let me say how excited I am I found a site like this. I have been wishing for something like this forever, now onto my gear. I play a 72 Tele Deluxe RI, I have swapped out the 250k pots and replaced them with 500k. This greatly improved the tone of the guitar. My amp is a 2001 Am. Made Hot Rod Deluxe I got off of craigslist for 300. I have played mainly that rig for awhile but recently I purchased a Boss ME-50 multi-effects unit. I love it and I am very pleased with the tones I can achieve. Now if I can get some money and add a single coil guitar to my collection I'll be complete.

I'm 16 and I've only been playing seriously for almost 4 years now. The guitar I use when I'm at home, recording, or jamming with friends is an ibanez gsa60. I'm hoping to uprgrade to an RG 1570 pretty soon. For the floor, I use a digitech rp80 and a crybaby wylde wah for my effects. I make my own presets with the rp. For amps, I have a Fender twin reverb amp, 95 watt, 3 channel, all tube; and a Peavey Rage 158 for practice.
When I'm at church, my rig is a G&L Legacy running into a digitech GNX3 processor. I don't use an amp at church, I plug straight into the system. When our choir plays live, I'll take along my Peavey and mic it up. It's a pain to carry that Fender around lol.
