Hello everyone! I am new here, but this is the gear I have. |
|
I am not the greatest photographer in the world, but I finally took some pictures of my entire guitar collection and some recording stuff I recently purchased.
Here is a family shot of my stuff....again sorry for the poor photography. I just did the best I could in my room and I have low wattage energy saving lighting, so that did not help much. But here my collection is anyway.

I know it is kind of hard to see what I have so I will give you a list. All the guitars are stock.
From left to right:
1. Far left out front: 2001 PRS Mcarty Soapbar all mahagony.
2. Behind PRS Mcarty: 2004 Fender highway one texas telecaster.
3. Beside PRS Mcarty 2007 PRS Modern Eagle 1 Private Stock.
4. Behind PRS Modern Eagle 1: 2007 Fender 1957 re-issue stratocaster.
5. Beside PRS Modern Eagle 1: 2004 Gibson ES-333.(NOTE: I NO LONGER HAVE THIS GUITAR, but IN IT'S PLACE I NOW HAVE A GENUINE 1959 GIBSON ES 330T THAT In BOUGHT FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER!)
6. Behind Gibson ES 333: (hard to see) 1999 Gibson Les Paul Special II SL.(I ALSO SOLD THE LES PAUL SL)
7. Beside Gibson ES 333: Fender Squire standard stratocaster.(I use this for practice at home and to keep as a beater guitar to take on trips.)
8. Behind Fender Squire strat: 2008 Godin ACS SA classical guitar with 13 pin pickup. (I use this for my main MIDI guitar)
9. Beside Godin ACS SA: 2001 Taylor 312 CE with fishman electronics.(By the way, I just ordered a LR Baggs M1A in soundhole pickup for it, because I hate the fishman electronics, though I love the guitars sound by itself!
10. Beside Taylor 312 CE: Ventura 12 string accoustic guitar. (made by takamanie in the 1970's? )( I bought this for about a hundred bucks on ebay, but it does get a great sound when you put on new strings and let them sit for awhile and then tune it up! The wood has really aged good on this one.)
My main amp, that you cannot see very well, is a Mesa Boogie Lonestar 2x12 ALL TUBE AMP (50/100 watt model with blue wrap)
I also have a Vox VR-15 practice amp that is a tube/ solid state hybrid amp. Sounds pretty decent for a small practice amp.
For my wah, I use a Vox V847 Wah that has been modded by a place called chucks tone garage on ebay a little while back to include a plug in for a power supply.
I have a audio technica wireless VHF guitar system I use at times. It is not the greatest, but it gets the job done within about 75 feet or less.
I also have (NOT PICTURED) a samson concert 77 headset mic, that I use to sing and play guitar with.
My effects unit is a TC Electronic Nova system with a G switch pedal. GREAT EFFECTS UNIT...and VERY useable sounds! Not a bunch of "space junk" effects either!
I also have a Liquid chorus for my acoustic guitar pedal as well as a LR baggs M1A soundhoile pickup and a LR Baggs para DI run into a Fender acoustisonic acoustic guitar amp.
I recently purchased a earnie ball volume pedal for my volume swells on guitar.
I also have a Line 6 POD 2.0 and floorboard that I use to take over to a friends house for music practice. I also have a galaxy audio hot spot monitor on a stand,I used to use this at another church I went to in another state but since I moved, the new church I will be playing at uses the Aviom headphone system for monitors for the musicians...MUCH BETTER! Less stage noise and you can have the mix YOU want with the A 16 II unit, Because you can mix in all the stuff on the stage yourself and heard your mix in the headphones...leaving the sound guy to run the house speakers.
I also purchased an Akai DPS 12 digital recorder for about 91 bucks on ebay that had its own hard drive inside. And then I got a CD Burner I bought for it from a friend. That is what will I do most of my recording for my guitars on.
On the MIDI guitar side....I use an axon AX 100 Mark II hooked up to a Yamaha Motif XS rackmount keyboard processor in a two space gator case on a stand made basically for keyboards with a box I made to bring it up to eye level when I stand up! I use the Godin ACS SA MIDI guitar with this unit going clean through my amp.
The Yamaha Motif has so many sounds, I am still trying to figure out what I may need for service. But it does have excellent sounds on it.
That is about it other than stands and cords. Not the greatest guitar collection in history, but good enough for me. What does your collection look like?

Wow!
You have quite a collection going there. I couldn't justify having all that since I couldn't play them all the time and would take up more space than I have available.

LOL! Actually I only started with a electric guitar and no amp when I first got the Holy Ghost . But recently I was able to purchase some newer equipment and add on to what I already had.
The original 1959 Gibson ES 330T was what really threw me, for the price I got it for. I was not even looking for a vintage axe, but when the original owner accepted my offer, I just could not pass that up!
But I play them by rotating them out in different services....for example, I just played and sang "Holding out hope to you" ( A Michael English song) this sunday and I used my PRS ME 1, but next sunday they are having an "old fashioned sunday". So I will be bringing my Taylor and my Fender Telecaster to that.
Just different tools for different things. It really helps when you are recording and want to get that certian sound from your guitar collection.
